along with the 3 other colors at Microsoft, this one is also 39.99. they have a few other colors for . EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: the black, white and blue controller link are next gen controllers, the others are not according to the D-pad design.

Yes. Both the Xbox One (the one you'd be purchasing in this deal) and the Series X controller work natively in Windows 10 via USB, bluetooth, or the Xbox wireless controller adapter. The Xbox One controller works natively in Mac OS, iOS, and Android. With the series X controller on Windows 10 two things need to happen first, you will need to update the controller's firmware. In order to do that, You have to use the Xbox Accessories app. You also need to make sure you are updated to the latest version of Windows 10, which is 20H2.

Having the Series X controller, I find the PC Bluetooth connection more stable than the XB1. It does use Bluetooth 5.0. With the XB1 controllers, my connections drop occasionally on their older bluetooth implementation.

Happily buying one of these as apparently new controllers qualify as a use for the $5 bonus MS cash that pre-ordering the series x got me (YMMV of course.)

Hey, does anyone know if the next gens maybe are actually designed better, heaven forbid that they might address the stick drift (which is why I have almost 20 of these things, maybe 16 of those piling up to eventually solder in new thumbstick components....what a PIA and costly too

For anyone asking, there are only very minor differences between the new controller and these last gen,
Just buy the previous gen with the design you like. They all work the same.
In fact, I use the old 'Sport' edition with my Series X because I like the rubberized grip.
