The X90CH is the warehouse (Costco/Sam's Club) version. They have a different model number so they are not open to price matching.

No Costco, but in for one at bb... Was looking at the Samsung q70t, but opted for the Sony.

Besides the model number, is this identical to the x900h in terms of features, ports, etc? Interested in this mainly for HDMI 2.1 with PS5.

if u have a ps4/ps5 the 900 has hdmi 2.1 better for gaming, 950 is brighter but no hdmi 2.1
You are correct. This is a better set for new consoles just released.

Just out of curiosity why would anyone buy this Costco TV when you can get this Sammy for almost 2x less? Possible less HDMI ports, but besides that what's so special about?

Same as 900H except a better (5 year) warranty.

And if you have a Costco credit card, you get an additional 2 years so 7 years on a TV and upto 4% back makes it even a better deal

Sony X75CH 65 inches is also available on Costco which is almost $400 cheaper. Both are LED. What is better in X90 for which someone should pay 400 dollars? TIA
X75 doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles. including HDMI 2.1 support which a lot of people are looking for when looking at the consoles. Although this tv is having some software issues currently in regards to VRR, it looks like it will be fixed in another update.. here's more info on the x75 https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x750h

Do some more research if you sole intention is 4k120 on PS5. Sony pulled back the promised update because a lot of users had issues with it, no ETA on when new update will be released now. Some issues were reported on Q80T for 4K120, but I'm not up to date on fixes for that.

I personally have decided to wait until next TVs comes out with full compatibility with these new consoles off the gate.
Actually they acknowledged, took it down. And just released a brand new one 19th. Not perfect, but am playing on series x with no blur atm

So, I will be able to play 4k 120fps day 1 if I buy this tv? I can wait on VRR and the rest but I'm not buying a tv just to wait on the 4k 120fps.

Bought this at Costco the last time they ran this deal. It's good in most respects. But I'm disappointed with the picture for football/sports. The players and parts of the field are fuzzy and distorted. Is anyone else seeing this problem? Or is it just the unit I have?

How stable is this TV on its stand? I have a base that it would rest on that is only 1 inch bigger than the stand depth. I am afraid of toppling.

Sadly, it wasn't in stock very long at Sam's, already have a membership there (would have to upgrade to Plus for free shipping though). Debating on if I should get it at Costco and get a membership. Have Sam's because I live 6 miles away vs 25 miles from Costco. Not sure how long it will stay in stock at Costco.

I really want the x950h, it did drop by $100, but still $400+ more and 4 years less on the warranty. 90 day returns at Costco and Sam's, so I could buy the x90CH and if the x950 goes even cheaper, then return the x90CH.
