I've had this unit since September. It's an absolute beast. One caveat though. If you have folks in your home who have long hair *cough cough ladies* then you'll wanna make sure to run it everyday. Reason being is if you wait and run it every few days, you'll pick up a ton more hair and consequently the auto-empty doesn't work too well because the dust bin has smallish trap doors on opposite sides and the hair will just get stretched across both and not get sucked out(along with anything attached to the hair).

Initially we thought that the auto-empty was useless because of this but then we started running the unit everyday and thus it no longer collects as much hair and can empty all of the debris with no issues.

Seems like this should be the normal price now.

The app issues aren't any worse than Roborocks app. I actually found it to be better than mi home and Roborocks app.

I have. Roborocks S5 Max, S5, and had tried an S6. The T8 cleans as well if not better, but it has a caveat in that it's a tad wider, and the 3d DToF sensor can prevent it from going places a lidar only model would go. The width can be issues with dining room chairs, and 3D sensing can be turned off. As others pointed out the auto empty bin can get clogged. The mopping on the T8 and S5
Max are comparable. Roborocks accessories are cheaper as well as replacement parts. Frankly they're all good and comes down to what works in your home.

How does this compare to Ozmo T5? I bought it yesterday for $350 part of Amazon daily deal.

How is this compared to S5 Max? I really like the auto empty feature on my Shark robot but the app is absolute garbage compared to Roborock.

year and half sparsely used deebot 907 started showing LDS malfunction recently. One of sensors died and cost to repair out of warranty was $100-$150. Loved it till it lasted .. skeptical now to try the higher ends ones

I confused by the model number T8+. Is this different than the T8 AIVI or regular T8? Looks like there might be at least 3 different versions and prices on Amazon.
