Sonos Beam - Costco - $289.99

+24 Deal Score

Costco has Sonos Beam for $289.99, which is $10 less than the recent post from Adorama.
shipping is free. free return (lifetime, not 90 days, since somehow Costco doesn't classify speakers as electronic).
Price is from 11/22 to 11/30

I bought 3 last year each $180, one for myself and 2 for family members as Christmas gift. No one can beat that Costco last year price mistake.
Nobody likes the time machine guy.

I checked earlier this morning and didn't see the discount. Costco must have seen everybody else lower the price and did the same. I believe their discount wasn't suppose to go live until the 26th. Good price on a great little sound bar. Buying from Costco is definitely the way to go unless you have the amex offer for best buy or adorama.

I bought one around 6AM Pacific time. Just checked, and Costco still show $289.99 and in stock

I am really torn between getting this or the Sony HT-G700 which has atmos. I really kind of want to get into the Sonos world though.

Any thoughts on these 3 speakers for Movies/TV streaming on a Samsung q60T?

Sonos Beam ($289) vs Bose Smart Soundbar 300 ($399) vs Bose Soundbar 700 ($699)?

Do you think eARC is worth the premium in price ??

Thanks in advanced!

I've dabbled in Bose soundbars and always have come back to the Sonos Beam. Sound quality wise the Bose Soundbar 300 is similar (see RTINGS comparison), but the software/hardware integration just works better than the Bose soundbars. The Beam just works every time - it doesn't even have a remote control. It's always "on" waiting to be kicked in to ARC mode for watching TV or for streaming music. It is very guest and wife-friendly. Never a moment of "why isn't the sound on???" or the sound coming out of the TV speakers instead of the soundbar.
