Kohl's has crazy rewards deals going on right now and this seems to apply to all Garmin watches including the ones that are on sale for the same prices as everywhere else.
For all Garmin watch purchases you get $30 in Kohl's cash and $5 in rewards for every $100 spent.
Some examples:
Garmin Forerunner 45 + $45 in Kohl's cash plus $7.50 in rewards $150

Yet, if you're looking for a tracking watch, I would go for the sapphire edition, and skip the solar ones.
The watch is mainly a motivator for me to continue exercising and beat my previous records. I have it combined with the Garmin Pro chest HR and running pod. I ordered Stryd pod to compare if it's going to give me more useful data.

Still no 945 bargains... 😭

When is the 7x expected, and will that further reduce 6x prices? And why skip the solar in your view?

Except upgraded GPS chip, upgraded heart sensor, larger screen, improved battery... Yes it's same.

I did not. Thanks.

EDIT: they both have 47mm casing size. The Fenix 6S is smaller at 42mm but shorter battery life.
Battery life is already long and very satisfactory so adding solar will not solve a problem and only extends the battery few hours. Solar lacks the sapphire lens. Solar is more $$$.
Fenix series heavier, have to go pro for maps and wifi.
5x plus was like a frakking shake weight on my wrist.
I'd say that the Fenix is a heavier watch though. Someone used to a Forerunner might not like that.
