You may think that 1500-2000 minutes is enough for you. But think, what if you have a loved one in a hospital meaning more usage and no one can reach you. They don't send any warning texts they just cut you off in middle of a conversation. I hope one day thee FCC sues them and screw them for millions like they did to tracfone a few years ago.

I say mysteriously because none of the changes appeared in the event history other than one line showing that I had properly applied the code to add a year. No emails/texts were sent indicating my service had been downgraded.
So I've been on chat with their non-support team for the last hour once again trying to get it straightened out with Carolyn who could not solve my issue, and could not escalate to a supervisor even though I asked for one within the first minute of the session. Instead they are pushing me into an email support scenario with the following "Please wait it will be sent within the day and you may reply to that email if you have further questions."
If you get it working, the service can be ok. But they frequently change the rules related to things like tethering, which phones support which functions like MMS, and other items you'll read about on this thread.
Ultimately I'm bound to them by my frugalities, and the need for the Verizon towers in the vastness of the midwest. So we keep one line in the household on a standard Verizon plan as a backup for our 4 redpocket lines while traveling.
The fact that these are 360 day plans rather than 365 day plans lets you know the type of shop you're dealing with. Just go into it eyes wide open and ask yourself, do you feel lucky in 2020?
Today I bought 3 and when I try to buy 1 more in a separate transaction it says "This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired."
Any pointers on how this can be overcome?

In Los Angeles I've had some minor issues with spotty service, but not bad enough to change. My parents had a problem on a trip to Wyoming, which I expected considering they were in the boonies.
