for what it's worth, i posted a negative review of this one because the cable connection on the one I got was very fragile it keeps dropping signal, as a result, they've offered to bribe me with a small gift card if I take down the negative review

I've been using this for about 2 months now for Zoom and it works fine. Color and microphone work well too. The one complaint that many have about this, that I will agree with, is the inability to zoom (change the size of the view) either manually or through software. The camera is about a foot, a foot and a half away from my face right now on a small tripod so that my face is framed correctly. I have room on my desk to do that but it's something to consider if you don't have the space.

FWIW I was looking at buying this because I don't want to pay $90+ for the logitech c920 but there were just too many issues with quality from all the reviews. I decided Id rather get something lower end resolution-wise but with the logitech name and I ended up getting the c270 from target for $28.

Hooking up a spare old iPhone from the past 4-5 years to your computer will beat these webcams quality-wise easily. I already had an HDMI lightning adapter and bought a cheap chinese USB HDMI 30fps capture card for $10. This webcam does have a wider angle lens than phones though if you need that.

Agree with this. You need to get a camera holder that you can move around regardless of where your monitors are because of the lack of ability to change the zoom. Great camera but given the wide zoom you need proper placement for working from home.

I purchased this at full price about 2 months ago, I have run into issues with the video freezing during conference calls probably 1x per hour on windows 10 due to connection problems. (Internet is not the issue, been on gigabit ethernet connections). Can be fixed by restarting camera and is no big deal for general meetings, but if you're interviewing / doing something important I would look elsewhere. Just my experience with the product so far

This product has a decent quality picture, but I used it with Teams and it would flash repeatedly then just go dark. Read the reviews on Amazon and you will see the same issues. If you post a negative review, the company will try to bribe you to remove it.
