Nice price since it includes an ac adapter.
When buying these, do realize that the footprint is virtually the same as larger units. It's just the height that's different. Most of the motors are also the same, and thus you gain in interior space isn't linear to external size.

If money is no object, get 1) the biggest capacity and 2) the best "brand".

I've been looking at these. I'd bite on slightly larger. If this was a 40 qt for slightly more I'd jump. 26 is tiny. sigh. Looks like a decent deal compared to competitors.

I got a smoking deal on a dometic 65 or I would jump on this. Love it for camping/roadtrips and then extra storage at the house.

There is a 50 quart Costway model (basically the same compressor and controller) on amazon for right at $310 after coupon. I got one two years ago and it is soooo nice in the summers. Ran for a full week out camping in 115 degree August trip on twin 12v deep cycle camper batteries and solar panel. Held -10 degrees F (not Celsius) for ice cream the entire trip.

Oh thanks!!! I'm debating i feel like I might be cooler crazy. I have a 50 ozark trail rotomold, a 25 pelican rotomold, some junky coleman ones. I wanted this one to use at home and short camping trips. I was like I could use it as excess garage freezer space during covid haha

I have this one. Make sure you are aware of the Fahrenheit bug on this cooler. Basically in Fahrenheit mode it doesn't properly hold a setpoint temperature and just continuously cools. The amazon reviews discuss it and have instructions on how to change modes, works fine in celsius mode. Mine arrived in Fahrenheit mode and i had to change it for it to work properly. The latch on the cooler isnt very tight. Interior space is a lot less than i expected, but understandable considering the compressor is inside. I didnt think noise was too bad, it didnt bother me. I put water bottle on it and ran it max cool for a day, at the end the water was just icy which my understanding is pretty decent for these coolers.

I am looking for a portable 12v cooler. I took a look at the costco one. The compressor placement is silly. You loose the top space for an additional compartment that could be used for other refrigeration needs. The compressor design makes no sense.

This will work. I have been using one of those other type of "ambient" coolers.. worked okay.. but on really hot days... it didnt work and it really didnt work on getting warmer drinks cold fast. hoping this does better.
