also amazon basically only ever pricematches other retailers, anyway, so i'd rather support the original retailers. i'm not super anti-amazon (i have prime through my fiancée and often use no-rush shipping credits from buying movies to "buy" more digital movies), but i've started trying to avoid them when i can, because i can
as a side note, even if you're doing vudu d2d for these, that would still cost you $20, so, might as well pick up the physical copies along with it, and regift, resell, etc.!
