https://rewards.tracfone.com/add-line (need to login to your TracFone reward account)
TracFone sent out an email yesterday saying you can get 10K reward points with any add a line. I haven't tried this for a brand new account, I already have an account and I can see 10K points pending for my new add a lines. I did one BYOP ($29.99 SIM kit from eBay two months ago) and one TracFone phone bundle from QVC.
1) 10K points are added as soon as you activate and add the new line to your TracFone account
2) Points become available for redemption after 60 days of continuous service
3) Max of 4 new lines per account can take advantage of this offer
The easiest way to take advantage of this is if you're already a TracFone customer and activate a new phone/SIM. If you aren't a TracFone customer, the safest way is to activate with a referral from someone already on TracFone (you'll get anywhere from 5-8K reward points) then you have the option to add a second line for 10K points.
1,000 points is worth roughly $10. So 1K points will get you a $10 refill/add-on, 2K will get you a $20 unlimited plan, 10K will get you a $99 annual card etc.
Possible hot deal combinations:

Now is the time to activate if you have a preloaded BYOP kit sitting around. I guess you could also do a $1 SIM kit and a $20 PAYG plan (90 days service) to get 10K points on an existing TracFone account as well, using it as a throw away # for 3 months.
TracFone customer care is horrendous but I have my main service on an eSIM and TracFone as a spare line.. works really well for things like Craigslist. FYI: Verizon plans to acquire TracFone in a multi-billion dollar deal. Should be interesting:

Yesterday, activated a new preloaded sim and transferred talk/text/data to pre-existing line/#.
10000 reward points showed pending immediately.
I bought a 1200/1200/3GB SIM kit on eBay from them last month when it was on sale for $30. If they offer that deal again (fingers crossed), that would be great for existing subs (it's ~$50-60 usually). This way, you can use the full service, SIM swap as you wish, and get the additional rewards.
If not, the A01 is the next best deal at $39.99 after coupon for new HSN customers, per the link above, or the $20 PAYGO kit for anyone that doesn't need the phone.
As noted above, this is an ADD A LINE deal for your current account.
"When will my points become available for Adding Lines?
Awarded points will take 60 days to process. Existing line(s) and new line(s) must be active for pending points to become available."
Look like 60 days. I have some coming to that point in about a week, so I guess I'll see.
Now, if I can only add the Moto G Power from the Amazon deal for nothing that will great.

But it's a relatively new program, so I'm sure things will change over time.

Yes you need an online account to earn/manage TF points.

Lol 😂 Thanks for the correction!
- If you are not an existing TF customer, then you could get the referral reward for the initial activation / sign-up to the rewards program, but not the add a line promo on your first line.
- If you are already a TF customer, then you can get this promo by adding the new line to your own rewards account (but not the referral bonus). If you don't already have a rewards account, I would create that first with your existing number, and then add the new line shortly thereafter.
If you are new and activating more than one line, then you can get the referral on the first line, and the add a line on any additional lines. The cost of the SIM itself is 99 cents, but you are FAR BETTER OFF getting a preloaded SIM on eBay. As I noted above, the 1200/1200/3GB SIM is a year of service and these total allowances of each of talk/text/data for the year (not each month). It was $30 on eBay about a month ago, and I would highly suspect it will come back at that price in the near future / during the holiday season.
You can then use the rewards down the line to add talk/text/data to it.
