StockPile lets you buy fractional shares of 1,000+ stocks and ETFs (99¢ per trade). No other monthly fees or minimums. This is a great way for someone to start investing (especially kids).

Starting tomorrow (Thanksgiving), StockPile's electronic gift cards will be fee-free. No gifting fees and no credit/debit card fees on all electronic gift cards. The deal will only last from Thursday, November 26th until Sunday, November 29th at 11:59PM PDT.
Without this deal, they charge upwards of $3.74 per gift-card ($2.99 + $0.99 + 3% credit-card fees).

Yes, but Stockpile works great if you can want to send a gift to others.

" All securities are offered to self-directed investors by Stockpile Investments, Inc., registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. Stockpile Investments may aggregate customer orders and execute trades at pre-set times. Therefore, the price you receive may differ from the market price at the time your order was placed. Securities purchases may include fractional shares. Fractional share orders placed by 3 pm ET on the day the stock market is open execute that day using the closing market price."

This is nuts. I thought I would max out spend but seems you cant control the price you buy at which devalues some of my plans

Got an email from Citi to use my card online for $500 and get $25 statement credit. Just ordered me a $500 gift card and already redeemed. Hopefully that gets me $25 credit

Was this offer specific to StockPile or for any online purchase?

Though i have not tried this....I think this is possible. There's no explicit check when you redeem a gift card.

Any online purchase. Being that I am trying not to spend money, this was an easy route to manufacture spending

A variation of this deal is being offered now. Not as good as the previous one. Gifting fees are waived (credit card or debit card fees still apply)

Stockpile is covering the gifting fees for you (credit card or debit card fees still apply). In digital or physical form, grab the perfect stocking stuffer to brighten anyone's future. For electronic gift card purchases, remember to use promo code HOLIDAY2020 to get the deal. Valid till Dec/24th
