I'm wondering the same thing. 80lbs would cost at least $120 alone right now, and if the bar is a solid standard bar then this is an easy buy.
Edit: based on some quick research I think this bar and the accompanying weights are 1-inch.

I purchased one from Walmart that included 100 pounds. I had to get rid of it because it was very wobbly. I wouldn't even consider the bar a bar.
