I just chatted with them and the earliest stock date available for my RC263 order was 1/12. Even that was just an estimate. I cancelled as I have my eye on something else now.

I have R152 and R162 pairs new in box for the sale price if anyone in the DC area is interested.

Mine sound fantastic through all 3 ranges.
And at $199.00 hard to beat the sound quality for that price. Of the 4 towers I have up front the R263s are easily top two and at sale price the cheapest of the group.
You might want to give them some playing time for break in, course mine were killer right out of the box

Also maybe double check that you didn't accidentally reverse the polarity on one of your speaker wires?

Anyone who is in this poster's local area and pondering this, I urge you to give the R152 or R163 a try.

I'm using the R152 near field on my desk, and they provide amazing clarity, detail, dynamics, presence, soundstage and imaging, which is even more astounding when considering the sale price.

R162 is probably too big for desktop/bedroom unless you have a big room and large desk, but they could also be really good as fronts for the living room.

When adding a new RC263 to shopping cart it shows "Expected ship date Thu Jan 14 2021."
So it could either mean that it should be in stock very soon and shipped on Jan 14th or that they continue to provide meaningless dates and each person/caller/chatter get a different excuse and ETA Mellow

Bingo! Mine was suppose to ship 12/21. I spoke with a CSR Monday, a week ago, and was told I would be in the next round of orders on 1/7. It's now showing 1/14 on the website. There backorder date keeps slipping. I wouldn't be surprised if orders start getting cancelled in February. They have no idea when the cargo will arrive.

A couple of posters above said their CCs have been recharged, so one would think something is about to happen. I just boxed up my Elac center to return.
No dedicated center in my system till mine ships.

Agree. Not good experience. I bought stand (due to much taller than what I have) for this speaker last month. Now just sitting there.

From other hand, hopefully this will not disappoint and I can keep it.

As much as I want this center I'm gonna give it another week, then seriously consider canceling and getting something else.
May just order something
