Battery Backup protects connected electronics from power events like surges and power outages.
Any item purchased between October 1st and December 24th can be returned until January 14th, or as the policy allows (whichever is later).
I believe battery compartment is sealed in this model. So cannot be replaced easily.
This newer 650VA with 2.1A USB port doesn't have the tool-free cover plate to the battery for user replacement. This newer version has deeply-set screws that makes the battery less easily accessible.
At $35 I don't really care if the battery isn't easily replaceable. This becomes disposable (please recycle) at this price. This is perfect for your modem and router.

The older one was $29.99 at Office Depot last year, $5 less than this year.
Could you still get to it with a "regular" screwdriver or need a special purpose one?
Definitely need a new one. I have 4-5 (older) APC models stacked in my closet, because the battery dies after a few years or less so they become virtually worthless. I wish there were a cheaper solution to replace them, but the cost of the battery was more than I even paid for the entire unit.

Get two or become VIP Rewards member to get free shipping. Otherwise, I am not sure what was the point to wait for this deal if you don't have a nearby store to pick up.

Yeah, I'm on my phone and don't know his exact equipment... Could run longer. But I wouldn't count on me than 2 hours without running the numbers. That's just my rough estimate
