Aww - did not see the drain was due to an LED light. I guess that's acceptable if you're into that kind of thing. It is helpful in pitch black trying to find your light. So might be kind of neat as an EDC. Going to try it out.

And for around $18, this is a fantastic EDC flashlight. I would highly recommend it.

If you use a standard 1.5V AA instead of a 14500, it will not activate the switch led. However, it's a lot less brighter that way. If you go that route, stick to rechargeable AA and avoid alkaline AAs that eventually leak.

But I would not trust that battery at all. Mine started a fire while charging. And I don't know anything about the new LED tailcap.
