Physical is often cheaper and has some sort of resale value if you get tired of the games.
God, let it go already. Who cares?
I think everyone is spinning their heads around "2k games" in the wrong direction posted from mk2gow1. The post was more likely meant to be "2k dollars $$$ worth of games" which is quite reasonable to acheive from a mainstream consumer family. Thats how I understood it from context of mk2gow1 having 2x young boys. But i could be wrong. The comments are quite entertaining though from the peanut gallery. 🤔⁉️⁉️💸💸💸🎮🎮🎮

I can't believe I fell for the marketing of this game, "limited time release" but during this time they printed a shit ton of them, this game is available everywhere.

How do Switch controls work on Mario Galaxy? That game is one of the best on the Wii but also required the nunchuk and those unique Wii controls.

How is there not a Mario Galaxy 3 for Switch yet? I'd pay full retail for that.

You guys must not game. Almost every gamer has over 2k games if you count across platforms.

Wtf are you even talking about lol. 2k games is a lot, even across multi platforms, even for gamers. Sure, you may pick up humble bundles to add to the numbers, but those aren't exactly "draining" you lol. Plus most gamers still settle in to specific games and franchises.

They also look nice on a shelf if you collect stuff. I try to only buy physical copies unless the digital version of a game is ridiculously cheap. Considering that there is zero physical manufacturing effort with digital versions, I think digital versions should always be cheaper than their physical counterparts.

Yes, I probably just started a digital vs physical sh!t storm.

I guess ppl get rid of their games eventually while I don't. But if you've been buying games for over 20 years on like half a dozen platforms, and you do a lot of bargain buying in addition to the stuff you're really into, it'd be hard to have not accumulated 2k by now. I could at least see how that guy could get into that situation if he's been buying since he was a kid and is now buying for his kids. Less likely that he just made that up

I believe him too. I have over 600 physical games and that's after trading in and selling a bunch of games over the years.

This would average out to buying two games per week every week for twenty years. That's not being a gamer, it's being a collector.

I saw a youtube review about this and apparently it works great if you are playing with joy cons detached but it gets cumbersome otherwise e.g. needing to use the touchscreen with joy cons attached
