Unfortunately, you sound like someone with zero experience with any of these current robovacs besides your Eufys.

It's a Costco specific 7+. Larger battery, more accessories.

I believe the big negative with this brand vs others that deposit into a bin, is this requires buying extra disposal bags?

Any good? Any better or similar options that are cheaper?

It used to be over $1000.

I've been waiting for the price to fall.

Is this discontinued or Costco specific? There's no i8 model available on Amazon or even listed on Roomba's own website.. The i3 and i7 and then the s9 model is all that shows up.

It is Costco specific. We had it for a little time, but we saw scratches on our floor even when the vacuum was perfectly clean, so it went back. We couldn't figure out where these small scratches were coming from. Not to say this wouldn't be true of all vacuum robots.

how does this compare to the Ecovacs Deebot T8+, just robot vacuum to robot vacuum and neverminding the auto empty bins?

Which one cleans up and navigates around by itself better for hardwood floors?

I have the t8+ and love it. It navigates very well. Rarely bumps into anything. Although the other day it got stuck in a corner and needed help getting out. The stupid thing was that it wasn't stuck!! It just couldn't figure out how to back out. I watched the poor thing spin around for 2 min until it gave up. This has only happened once out of 10 cleanings so I'm not worried about it.

Way better than Debolt which had a horrible map

Does anyone have this with fairly plush carpet? I recently bought new carpet and was told that if I use my Dyson it would void my carpet warranty. Loved my Dyson by the way. I bought a Bissell but not liking it much .Looking for something to use on thicker carpet, hoping this might be the answer. Thanks

Might finally bite on this. I don't want Xiaomi or Ecovacs, and Neato doesn't make one with the extra storage so Roomba is pretty much it.

Get the i3+ if you don't have a big area. Just bought the i3+ for $400 and I'm very impressed. Never get stock and can clean 500 sqft area without recharging.

I bought this a couple of months ago for the full price. We have a lab that sheds, so this has been a life saver instead of having to manually vacuum or sweep every day. We have mostly hardwood with area rugs and it cleans both of them very well. Definitely well worth it at $580.
