Home Depot website is offering the same deal as their in-store "Buy heated jacket/hoodie and get 2.0 battery free". What makes this better is that they offer more sizes online and different/more styles than in-store.
Also, the 2.0 battery shows up as a separate line item/SKU online. So you can easily return it and you'll still get the BOGO savings on the jacket or hoodie (but at a pro-rated discount).
The m12 Jacket kits are $199. $150.02 if you return/cancel the battery
- The Jackets that are priced at $199 are a kit and you still get a m12 2.0 Battery (48-11-2420) and Compact Charger & Power Source (48-59-1201). The battery is worth about $20 and the Power Source is worth about $35, but retails for $59.
m12 Hoodie only is $129. $85.79. if you return/cancel the battery.
Use desktop browser to see the option to add free battery.
See attached photo for sample of pricing.

What's cool about the compact charger/power source is that you can use your m12 batteries as power sources like an external battery because it has a USB out to charge things like your cell phone, tablet, etc.
What I plan on doing is not even using a milwaukee m12 battery to power the jacket or hoodie that I bought. And I'm looking into buying an external battery that has a DC output that can hook up to the jacket/hoodie. Example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...L1K3&
That battery should last a LOT longer than a m12 2.0 battery.

I've only done it by picking up 1 item in store and shipping 1 to home. Thanks.
The deal here is really returning/cancelling the free 2.0 battery part of the promo and still getting the jacket/hoodie at a discounted price.
Other online retailers like acme or toolnut offer the free 2.0 battery, but the free battery is a mail in rebate.
Also, as I mentioned in my original post - what's good about this is the size/color selection and the variety of heated gear styles on homedepot.com when compared to what's offered in-store. At my local HD usually it's just L or XL in the heated tough shell jacket or hoodie. And I've only seen black and grey in store.

Once your jacket/hoodie ships, call the Home Depot you chose for pickup and cancel the pickup portion (free battery),
I've done this before without any issues.
