Home Depot website is offering the same deal as their in-store "Buy heated jacket/hoodie and get 2.0 battery free". What makes this better is that they offer more sizes online and different/more styles than in-store.

Also, the 2.0 battery shows up as a separate line item/SKU online. So you can easily return it and you'll still get the BOGO savings on the jacket or hoodie (but at a pro-rated discount).

The m12 Jacket kits are $199. $150.02 if you return/cancel the battery
- The Jackets that are priced at $199 are a kit and you still get a m12 2.0 Battery (48-11-2420) and Compact Charger & Power Source (48-59-1201). The battery is worth about $20 and the Power Source is worth about $35, but retails for $59.

m12 Hoodie only is $129. $85.79. if you return/cancel the battery.

Use desktop browser to see the option to add free battery.

See attached photo for sample of pricing.

I'm glad I waited on this and saw there's a green one. I got a free m12 battery from Milwaukee/acme during a failed fulfillment and it's been sitting, now I can return the battery and still have an extra. Best part is the color option is better than the previous black / grey. Thanks!!

Got a heated hoodie a few years back and wear it under everything in the winter. Seriously debating a non-kit Jacket at 122.07 after cancelling the battery but the hoodie has been sufficient so far... and its not like we go anywhere nowadays Frown.

via desktop, where you select the size, right below it gives you the option to "buy 1 get 1," add the battery from there.

So if you pay for the coat and get the battery for free you are still missing the $80 charger?

If you pay for the Jacket Kit that is regular price $199, this kit already comes with a 2.0 Battery and a Compact Charger & Power Source (48-59-1201 [homedepot.com]). It's not the bigger regular charger that comes with the usual kits - such as the Drill Battery Kit. You don't really need an extra 2.0 battery and can cancel/return that portion of the order, unless you really want two 2.0 batteries.

What's cool about the compact charger/power source is that you can use your m12 batteries as power sources like an external battery because it has a USB out to charge things like your cell phone, tablet, etc.

What I plan on doing is not even using a milwaukee m12 battery to power the jacket or hoodie that I bought. And I'm looking into buying an external battery that has a DC output that can hook up to the jacket/hoodie. Example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...L1K3&psc=1

That battery should last a LOT longer than a m12 2.0 battery.

I do the same with the $64 version of that battery, works well.

I see that ororo seems to be another popular brand but pretty expensive. Hoping to see a price drop at one of the retailers soon!

Anyone know if you can ship 1 item to store and ship 1 item to house and then cancel one of them to pull of the hack?

I've only done it by picking up 1 item in store and shipping 1 to home. Thanks.

There's too many variables to add the pricing in the title. For example:
  • Jacket Kit, keep extra 2.0 battery
  • Jacket Kit, return 2.0 battery
  • Jacket only, keep extra 2.0 battery
  • Jacket only, return 2.0 battery
  • Hoodie Kit, keep 2.0 battery
  • Hoodie Kit, return 2.0 battery
  • Hoodie only, keep 2.0 battery
  • Hoodie only, return 2.0 battery
  • Vest Kit, keep extra 2.0 battery
  • Vest Kit, return 2.0 battery
  • Vest only, keep extra 2.0 battery
  • Vest only, return 2.0 battery
  • There's also different versions of jackets that cost more (parka), 3XL costs more, womens pricing.

The deal here is really returning/cancelling the free 2.0 battery part of the promo and still getting the jacket/hoodie at a discounted price.

Other online retailers like acme or toolnut offer the free 2.0 battery, but the free battery is a mail in rebate.

Also, as I mentioned in my original post - what's good about this is the size/color selection and the variety of heated gear styles on homedepot.com when compared to what's offered in-store. At my local HD usually it's just L or XL in the heated tough shell jacket or hoodie. And I've only seen black and grey in store.

What I'm doing is having the jacket and hoodie ship to me. And having the free 2.0 battery for store pickup. You can let them fulfill the store pickup, but don't pick it up.

Once your jacket/hoodie ships, call the Home Depot you chose for pickup and cancel the pickup portion (free battery),

I've done this before without any issues.
