$250 for a set of FT140's is great for the budget-minded. I would not recommend them at full price, however.

Pros: excellent tread wear

Cons: Noisy, average traction

I assume they're ethical now, but Firestone still reminds me of when they had those tread separation issues on new tires. A 100 some people had to die before they admitted any problem with their tires.

I drive Hyundai Kona... 205/60R16... so close!

ETA: Actually there's more tire sales around this price on eBay. Just search for your tire size and see.

My elantra fits this. Not sure how much of a deal this really is. Would need to store for awhile before I need to swap. Would still need to pay for install/disposal which may come out to what I'd spend anyway.

Anyone who wants good gas mileage and prefers to cruise than speed.. My Chevy and now my Honda use this size. 38mpg on my Chevy, 50 on my Honda.

Almost everyone driving a car or truck from before the early 2000s. This was one of the most ubiquitous sizes in the late 90s before manufacturers started softening suspensions and putting flashier wheels on so that everything (including a giant Infiniti SUV) was riding on 22" wheels.

It's quaint to listen to hip hop brag about 20" wheels from 20 years ago...

Lol I'm still on the fence about Firestone from that whole ordeal

Did anyone in the leadership go to jail or face criminal charges? Otherwise it's business as usual.
