Saw this last time and got it for my wife's pc, and it worked fine on activation. Saw this again today while cleaning up my bookmarks and it is on sale again.
I agree. Tried to edit group policy to boot straight into an application.. turns out only PRO can do it. Home edition is limited. Removed a lot of useful functions. And not sure if u can just change key later if u decide to upgrade... That's a mixed response.
If u like to tinker get pro. If u want to be a function or a parameter.. or just have minimal functionality (nothing wrong with that)... Home edition should be adequate.

It has to do really with the "utility" gained by the use of the system - Win95 got big by being misused on tons of business computers, it didn't have the security or proper networking tech out of the box for that purpose. Ever since then they've been finding quirky new ways to respond, if you were allowed to do the behavior you desire - ie: boot into a single application liek a kiosk, you'd be using the device like a business machine and while it may be for personal use if they didn't try to block stuff like that businesses would buy whatever is cheapest... Hence Linux is so big, whatever is the cheapest road seems to be the common one.
I am just happy to have finally found a way to block any and all updates in Win10, and be able to easily turn the feature on/off. (Since you need Windows Update to install drivers when a new device is detected, for example, or when installing certain software for prerequisites)
It's a crack tool. Just spend $3 - $6 on eBay for a pro license and don't ask questions...
Not necessarily a crack tool as the mechanism used is the same ones the OEM's use. Thereby nothing is being manipulated so much as information is being added to the system in a couple place in a permissible manner and the OS is responding by authenticating that info and making a decision based on it.
For example you can use it on a Dell system that came with Win7 Pro to auth the system for Win7Pro and that is a totally legit usage and not any sort of crack. The BIOS info may not need to be updated but by using a non-OEM installer/restore tool you still need something like this to put the oemauth file on the drive or whatever.
Just cloned by older desktop's HD to an SSD and did the free Microsoft upgrade from 7 Pro to 10 Pro. I only have one machine left on an older OS and that's 8.1 Good price though. They have a pretty good price on Office 2019 Home and Student also: https://software.pcworld.com/p431...udent_2019
It my ultimate wisdom I didn't save my Window's 10 Home product key when I built my last PC. Does anyone have a reliable way to recover my home key so I can upgrade my desktop to pro and then use my existing home product code on my MacBook Pro?

Decent find and it reports it's a full retail code.
