What happened to green energy? will this HP Model get delisted in the certification as a Green laptop? How many laptops does HP produce a year? Multiply that out for every model that has this battery issue. That's a lot of needless carbon emission! And this doesn't include the damage done to the battery. My battery date is 10/2020, but according to BatteryInfoView, it reports over 300+ "charge / discharge cycles." This can't be right, right? What does your battery report with BatteryInfoView?
Thankfully I was able to return mine (Ryzen 5) to Walmart with zero hassle.
I saw my battery cycle listed 2 in the factory software thing. I had it unplugged the entire time I had it (because of the noise) except to top it up a few times. I only used it....10? hours total.

To get the report, do the following.
Open a Windows Powershell (Admin)
Type: powercfg /SYSTEMPOWERREPORT
Check the report in C:\Windows\System32\sleepstudy-report.htm
If it says Shutdown (Hybrid) then try to disable check THIS [computerhope.com] link for more info.
Disable hibernation: powercfg /h off
