visible has much better deal, and you get unlocked phone.
iphone 12 pro + airpods pro + $150GC + $25 chase/bofa cash back + $100 r10 cash back
out of pocket = $1104 + $65( 2 months service) -$150(sell airpods pro) -$150 (rebate) -$25 -$100 -$300 ( sell your phone online) = $444
and you need not deal with left over gift cards
Like in my scenario, I bought $700 worth of Apple Store gift cards from Target total for $552 (after discounts and etc)
Trade in for my iPhone 11 $350 + $150 Tmo credit = $500
So, cost of the iphone 12 pro is $1000 - 552 - 500 = Comes down to $ -52 (Future credit for Target Store)
Total of $500 out of my pocket.
If I were to get it from Costco;
$900 for iPhone 12 Pro
$375 Trade-in total $525 Out from pocket.
It's close but Target + Apple Store deal is slightly better, forgot to mention that Apple Store iPhones are factory unlocked.

your calculation seem to be off. let's say you can get $300 for your iphone 11 if you sell online so it's $300 cash
to get iphone 12 pro you are giving
$552(apple GC COST )+ $300 ( iphone 11) then you get back $150 in prepaid card and $50 target card
so you costs are close to $652 vs $444 in visible case
What's the most cost-effective plan for 1 line only? I can see on their website it's minimum 60 per line per month which would effectively eat $200 for 3-4 month while you have to stay with t-mobile.
Otherwise my mobile payments will be in the range of 50 bucks for the next 3-4 months since I work from home. Basically a loss of $150 here at minimum.
Is there any workaround for this? Can I somehow do $40 prepaid plan?
thanks!
I (existing member) buy an iphone 12 for $769.99+tax. Then trade in an iphone 6+ and receive a $194 credit on my bill?...and $256 (450-194) on a virtual express mastercard?
No matter what you trade in on the list, it will be a total of $450 off?
Non-t-mobile customer currently and bringing 2 iPhone 11 pro maxs
BYOD off: $200 per line with new line activation
+ $100 Shop Card: when adding a new line of service
= $600 (2 lines/2phones) for switching and not buying a new phone, correct?
Seems like a good deal if you aren't buying a new iPhone.

I have 5 cricket number which I can port in new line of service with t-mobile. So I will get 1 or 2 line fres $200 BYOD Costco Shop card and $100 rebate from t mobile. And If I trade in iphone se 2nd gen to purchase iphone 12 pro I will get additional $150 back. Is it possible to trade in 5 iphone se in store and get gift card. Also it seem I should trade in 4 in apple store and 1 i do trade in online while purchasing iphone 12 pro.
I have iPhone 8 Plus : I'll get $374 trade as I k know but what is $200 shop card?
Suppose I get my virtural card in 8 wks. I do not plan on opening/using the iPhone 12, and I want to return it w/in the 90 days. My hope is that by then the 12Pro is available.
Can do this? Will they allow me to return the 12?
Would it affect the value i received for the iPhone 6?
I have an iPhone SE first gen:
buy iPhone 12 64GB: $746.99
- trade in $194
= total for upgrade $553
Is that it?
