I have this and it's pretty good! Only issue is for the grill, it only functions when the lid is closed - not that I shouldn't have known that but for those who think this may be a cool alternative for like Korean bbq, it's not going to be. But it grills well and is a good air fryer too!
The Costco model is the same thing with added "smart" feature where you can choose the type of protein and level of doneness, and it'll do everything else automatically including tell you when to flip.

I could be wrong, but looking closely at this one and the Costco model, I think they're exactly the same, just with the buttons moved around. It's all the same buttons, except one on this model that says "Probe" and one on the Costco version that says "Preset/Manual", which I suspect do the same thing.
Post a picture of the Costco model.

According to the specs this one and the Costco one are both 6 quarts.

Yep, the fry baskets are 6 quarts but different shapes. But the grill surface is bigger in the XL model.

I'm not sure where you're getting this, but the Costco model isn't XL. If you go to the sites and compare these are both 6 quarts with a 4 qt fry basket. Costco doesn't even have the XL model on their website.

Yes he is right..

this is the deal on XL that has expired now, if you could get this price for XL now, you should go for it- https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/14587255.
If not, I would settle for this smart (non-xl) as it comes at a reasonable price & adequate return window if you score a better deal elsewhere.

If that's the case, the only other model is the old model.

I bought this several months at the deal posted here same price. I found the probe not thaaaat useful...it's better to have an external probe, you can monitor continuous. Like, a bluetooth one, or one that sounds an alarm. Sure, the probe will shut the machine off automatically, but you have to be there to open the lid immediately otherwise you overcook. Also, you need to make sure you insert probe properly, otherwise it's annoying to restart the cook.

I looked at the Costco version the other day, and it does not come with the roasting rack, while this does.

In my opinion, the "upgraded Smart" functions of the Costco version are just a gimmick. Just cook the desired temp, same thing.

Yes, this machine toasts bread, duh. I made burgers and toasted buns at same time.

I baked banana bread in this today (save energy vs turning on the oven). The inside pan can fit a standard 9 in square or round pan. Also a standard loaf pan (no handles; 9 in length max) fits, but need to be careful the loaf does not rise over top of pan, as top clearance could be issue (especially if you set the pan on top of the roasting rack).

Great deal. Unfortunately they are adding a $25 international fee because I'm in Alaska.

Well, you are in Alaska.

But the XL has less head room and it doesn't brown as well.

here's a video, I moved it to the right position for you.

About to give up until the morning when their customer service is up. Can't get through checkout with any card, paypal, different computers, different browsers, etc. Shit show.

Thanks.

Grabbed this after reading reviews on the newer XL one as most people say it seems like the newer one just doesn't heat up as much.

I toast bread using the bake option and set it to 325-350 degree (depends on how toasty you want it to be) for around 4-7 min. And I don't have to flip it.
