1080p on a 31.5 seems like a bad idea. Anyone have thoughts on this one?
I might have to get this for my co-worker that is currently using their 27" 1080p monitor at 150% scaling. EEK!
I don't think your co-worker will see you doing this.

I would agree. The largest monitor that I would recommend for 1080p is 27 inches.

Depends how close you are I have a veri desk which puts the monitor two and a half feet away from your face which means you need a giant monitor

Generally, yeah. But if you are someone with poorer eyesight, it's cheap for the size. Also if you just want a big secondary monitor for watching Youtube/Twitch.

1080, 75HZ, and 5+ms response time all kill it
this is a very old model, out of support by LG itself

I like it because my eyes don't work like they used to. Someone is going to say this can be compensated if the monitor has too-high resolution, but this is not completely true, at least not in Windows where some things don't scale up correctly or without some loss of sharpness.

1920x1080 is useless for 32" monitor.... It would be too big for that size.

also LG only have 1 yr warranty. LG = NG

I would recommend the Lenovo for $30 more which is a 1440. I upgraded both my 23.5 inch Acers that were slowly dying. The Lenovos are huge and they look amazing. Not too big.
