Took me a while to find a straight comparison of this tablet to the Fire hd 10.

I bought the smart tab M8 with dock, expecting it to be a more flexible alternative to the Google nest hub.

It was slow to respond, the low percentage of the time it actually did.
Any reason to expect this to be any better?

- Known issue where Netflix cannot play in HD, but aforementioned Android 10 update upped Widevine version, should allow workarounds like this patched Netflix app [github.com]

Looks pretty good to me. I can return my Chromebook Duet and get this. Wish it was wireless charging, has pogo pin connectors for fast charge docking. Extended returns until January 15, 2021.

yes, it's late, I got back out of bed to order this. It better be worth it , lol. Watched a few videos, hope the speakers are adequate, not a Netflix user but I do like casting and Google Home audio.

Debating between this and Fire HD 10. Primarily looking to play H.265/HEVC 10bit mkv video files, surf, and mess around in Robinhood. Is this worth the extra cost? Don't know anything about the various processors but this has double the RAM.

The big plus for the Lenovo tablet is Google Play Store. With the Fire you're stuck with the Amazon App Store, which I personally dislike. I'd go with the Lenovo one...

Ships on 12/24/2020. That is what it said on my final invoice screen. This contradicts the ships in 3-4 days on the listing page. So perhaps place a nice card under the socially distanced tree.

This one has a much better CPU. Almost twice as fast as m8. Also 4GB vs 2GB ram.

ingot the same one from walmart compared to my 3 year old ipad it's not as responsive when owning and closing apps

I mainly got it to use to control wifi devices and maybe play some music and such and leave a video playing like pluto music videos
and randomly it will minimize the app
