I compared current prices with multiple items from my order history and noticed that even after 30% they are are higher.
There are some really good deals there even now, like some brushless tools for $35, the ridgid cutoff saw for $70-$80, the 2HP plunge router for $50, expand-it attachments for $35, etc. But plenty of dud deals mixed in too. You can't go in assuming everything's good.
The free shipping is a big deal though. I always get excited by that since I can get some of the <$10 stuff like spark plugs and hole saw kits. Here's everything ordered by price: https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...relevance#
Picked up a few blemished tools from Ridgid, one hand recip, octane circular, and 4.5 grinder. Getting ready for spring, building a house. $240 otd is good enough for me.
Funny, the Ridgid 86011B 1/2" impact listed is more expensive (now sold out) than the "factory blemished and therefore LSA-qualifying) that was on sale last week.
Tried buying a bunch of tools last year on the Black Friday deal. after 2 months of correspondence with the company they still hadn't shipped out any of the items. Claiming they sold way more than they anticipated. To get them to refund money on a product is next to impossible very frustrating. Even if it looks like a good deal I pass on this company it's not worth the headache

Yes soooo frustrating. This might as well be YMMV because I don't have a store by me
Yes the new guy in charge changed policies, the deals for the most part are not what they used to be, unfortunately

Just got myself a compact router and wondering if they're any good for a weekend DIYer.
Yesterday item was $65. Today it's $130 with 30% off....now $90.
FTS. Maybe Dindu may not notice?
