Unfortunately, they don't price match if purchased via the previous deal. Also, can't purchase at the current price and reject the shipment for the prior order, as they charge a 20% restocking fee, even if the item is unopened and returned as undeliverable.
I chatted with the agent this morning and there wasn't anyway around this that I could find.
Hmmm, to upgrade my x4 drill/impact kit or not... It's got full LSA on it.
These are objectively upgrades for both tools. Just not sure if it's worth it to me as I haven't exceeded the capabilities of the x4 tools after like 5 years.
Is there no way to identify which model numbers these drill drivers are?
Home depot usually has more info. Octane Hammer Drill, Octane 6-mode impact driver. 2x 3Ah Octane batteries. This combo is pretty heavy but will kick some butt
What a great deal! I was pleased with the $159 price I paid a couple of weeks ago.
The drill is a beast: 1300 in/lbs. My compact Gen 5x hammer drill has 700 in/lbs, and I've never felt that it was a slouch. The new drill is quite a bit bigger though - definitely not in the compact category.

Man, I'm debating upgrading from my Gen 5 models. That price is nuts!
The drill's worklight shoots out of the chuck, believe it or not. I've never seen that before. The three thin light bands are on the front edge of the chuck, along the circumference. At slow drill speeds, it has a strobe like effect!

Yeah that's what I'm debating, I don't need so much power, I like a smaller drill like the compact driver. But alas, that is not the one on sale!
And I'm always debating between switching to Ridgid or staying with Dewalt.

It's Model R9501 for the kit. Here it is at Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.c

The wife talked me out of it as my x4 kit has had zero issues. Maybe I should fix that
