About this Book
  • For any task you might want to do, there's a right way, a wrong way, and a way so monumentally complex, excessive, and inadvisable that no one would ever try it. How To is a guide to the third kind of approach. It's full of highly impractical advice for everything from landing a plane to digging a hole.

Such great books - just make sure to read on a 10" tablet with Kindle app - not well suited for regular Kindle/Paperwhite

File size is huge too. Amazon and/or the publisher do a horrible job optimizing these books. I know it can be done because I have illustrated ebooks with reasonable file sizes. Too many illustrated kindle books(almost every DK book for example) have file sizes in the hundreds of MBs. I will not purchase for this reason. I like to keep them on my device.

This is also why I still get print magazines. I do not want to have to delete stuff every time a new issue arrives.

I did buy this one though. The author is too funny to pass on at this price.

Easier to store and access print mags over digital?? I like holding print media sometimes, but I'll take digital storage and anywhere access, even with large file sizes
