Will this work during WiFi/power outages? Just want to make sure.
Also, does this use the same app as the Wyze cams and other Wyze devices?

This is a replacement to the deadbolt lever/handle side only. A key can still be used if there's an outage or you don't know the code for keypad.
Sorry I should have been more specific, can I still use the numpad during WiFi/power outages. I hate smart devices that lose nearly all functionality during WiFi outages, so i just want to make sure it still works as a non-smart numpad deadbolt. The numpad is wire free, so not sure if it connects to the deadbolt via WiFi or another way. If it's WiFi, then that's a dealbreaker for me
Ahh got it. I looked again and here's an FAQ that says the lock itself has bluetooth so it can still work with bluetooth when WiFi is down. I'd hope the number pad also works like bluetooth, but didn't see anything about it.
Awesome thank you and repped
More questions:
1. if you want to check to make sure that the door auto locked when leaving the home, wouldn't it unlock just by doing so?
2. Does it beep to indicate that it has been auto locked or unlocked?
3. Can you disable the auto lock/unlock feature? Would be nice to disable the Auto Unlock, but keep the auto lock enabled.
One reviewer: "We've had it installed for about week now - and have noticed that the auto unlock won't unlock after we leave for a couple minutes (say 20 to 30 mins). We do nightly walks after dinner for about 20 - 30 minutes in our neighborhood, and upon walking home the door doesn't unlock. But if we drive out of at 2 mile radius I suppose, it doesn't matter how long we're away the door seems to unlock every other time. I guess, it would be nice to limit the distance of the "geofence" to allow for more accurate unlocks. Today, while we were home - the door decided to unlock on its own. Not sure what the glitch was - but right now, we're missing our keypad lock."

Yes, the keypad can still lock/unlock the Wyze lock without WiFi as it uses Bluetooth
