I believe that Wyze is attempting to develop an ecosystem and brand recognition at a loss. Amazon operated at a loss for YEARS and YEARS for example before jacking up prices. I'd wager that once they feel established with a strong userbase, future products can have higher profit margins on them and people already invested into their app will like to see everything in one place and will pay more five years from now.

I ordered for a female family member. Is 47mm too big for an average size female wrist? Maybe 44mm would be better? or keep 47mm for 300mA battery vs 260 in 44mm? what's their return policy if size too big?

Just a basic no-bells-and-whistles watch (not entirely true, it has a few nifty features) that can talk to your phone for 20 bucks. What an amazing premise.

What does it actually lose over a proper Smasung or Apple watch though? Build quality?
Just Android and IOS integration over the standard iWatch and samsung galaxy watch and its 90% cheaper. I hope they add ECG and a Thermometer to a pro\health version of it, should only add about 10-20 more bucks to it, despite what Apple overcharges for it.

Is this worth if I have the Fitbit Inspire? I don't really care for apps.

If you have ios, I'd guess you'll have quite limited functionality

I feel the same. That, and I believe that Wyze is trying to disrupt the individual industries of these products by demonstrating how overpriced they are with products that have the same features, but sell less.

A company releasing a product is weird?
Yes, when they span the different industries that these guys have this year..yeah

A camera company started making a smart scale, a watch, heaphones, smart bands, doorbells, thermostats, smart locks, vacuums, sprinkler controllers, light bulbs....all in about a year. Know any other company that does that? Oh yea...and for 50% less cost than other products out there. Something seems weird. Like I said, I own their products and they have worked okay for me...but it is just a little weird.

47mm is too big for a small female wrist.

Given the apple watch standard for women, I think it's safe to assume 38 - 44 is the normal range for females. Don't get 48.
