If you're looking for headset to pair with PS5 or XBox Series X, maybe consider waiting for restock of the specifically designed versions Arctis 7P and Arctis 7X, which also have lower price = $150.
I've been waiting for pretty much the entire year for a special to come out on these. I just bought my girl a laptop + upgrade some parts for a total of $1k. Now I can't justify this FML

This one is still $90 more and it's a lot to swallow even at $240, plus it's 2 years old model, while the new model features USB-C dongle for wider compatibility (like phones), not sure if that matter to anyone. With new model PC users will lose out on virtual 3D sound though, so it makes sense to wait for 7P/7X only if you're planning to use it mainly with the console. Rtings has the 7P in their lab, so we should see a full review within a month or so.

These are fantastic. I got them for ~$240 refurb and it was 100% worth it, so this price new is a no-brainer. Honestly it felt a little frivolous to spend so much on a gaming headset at first, but I'm glad I went for it. If you can swing it, I can't recommend them enough.
They're widely considered the best headset available for gaming, and they're not terrible for music either (though obviously they won't beat most cans actually made for music). The mic is excellent as well. And they come with 2 battery packs that can be changed out in a few seconds, so you don't have to wait while they charge. It's a simple feature but I've really appreciated it.
They're also comfortable enough to wear for ages, for me at least. And I've got a weirdly big head, so most headphones give me a headache after less than an hour. I did have to bend the band a little by putting them over something slightly wider than they are for a day.
I hope this doesn't sound like an ad lol, I just really love em. Still, I couldn't personally justify paying full price, but for under $250 they're absolutely worth it.
Thanks OP. Had set an alert for these for my son. Bought some at Best Buy about a week ago, but they can go back now. Bought the 3 year warranty because of some of the reviews and still came out $55 dollars better. By the way, this Amazon model and the Best Buy model have different model numbers but same description. Anybody know what that is?
I'm using them on my PS5 now. I need a headset where I can adjust chat and game volume independently. Didn't do much research since I wanna snag the official ps5 pulses. Since they are sold out and best buy has a dope return policy, I snagged up the steel 7ps. They were listed as the best second option

Could you please specify if you are using then wirelessly? My assumption was that wh-1000 models only work with the cable on PS.
I didn't find much info regarding the model number of Arctis Pro, but the white version goes as 61474, so it could be slightly different color or something?
I have been looking around to get the Arctis 1 for Xbox, and I have just stumbled upon this offer. I would not buy because it is way off the budget for me, but from what I have seen these are really top of the notch and at $90 off seems to be like a good deal for those who can afford it.
Btw, this is my very first post here. I hope I did it right.
This is a good price for these. For those interested, be aware that there has been complaints by some that there is always a slight him of white noise coming from the speakers. It isn't noticeable when you have audio coming through though.

Good deal. Going to do the same, but trying to return it to Steelseries themselves 😬
