The review comments for this monitor note that the stand is not height adjustable, despite being listed as such in the description. Also. the 10% target circle coupon cannot be applied.

I was planning on buying this, but those two factors have changed my mind.

Agreed and I am not a big fan of IPS. I must have deep contrast and IPS panels suck at contrast.

I'm considering the same options. They are similar in their limitations (no VESA, not height adjustable, no dvi), but the Dell has a few better specs (75hz, faster response time, Freesync), the HP has 2 HDMI ports vs 1 for the Dell.
