Has anyone experience with this brand? I am building a 'modest' gaming PC, I would like to read your comments.

Looks like it's this vs the ACER vs the Lenovo right now in the 34" 144Hz 21:9 1440 category.

Looks like a good monitor/brand for the most part, especially at the price point, but some QC issues at times with pixels, color out the box, and a little bit of backlight bleeding at times.

How does this compare to the Gigabyte G34WQC?

You're right, I forgot that one, there are a lot hovering around this price point currently. Been looking at that one too.

I purchased this a year ago and returned it. Had bad flickering with with my RTX2080. I then purchased the AOC branded version and it has been perfect. No issues and better support.

No reason to get this over Acer or the V brand.

I have this. Thought it was a pain to get colors right and I believe that because there's no calibration from the factory, there's really no one set fits all. It kind of just have to play around yourself. I get some flickering when I either get an Xbox achievement pop up or change the sound volume via keyboard. I think it has something to do with the HDR setting ( auto vs on).

Good deal but risky business buying a monitor from Newegg still.

So true, either the shipping company broken my box open and tore it up or newegg did. Im guessing it was newegg, but just normal computer parts totally fine buying from newegg

Anyone have a link to the Acer monitor you're all talking about?

Also how does it compare to https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E1682...6824012017 this?

I had the exact opposite experience. I bought the AOC monitor at first, and it flickered badly while playing games.. I returned that and bought this monitor, and it works awesome. It is a good monitor for the price. I have a 2070 Super fwiw.

Wow... How strange. I really wanted to keep it but the flickering was bad and Nixeus used generic drivers. AOC had their own drivers so I gave it a shot and it was good.
