In for 500! Gonna give some to my coworkers. Its getting bad here and staff is getting sick...if it keeps even one from getting sick its worth it
I really like these masks for good fit and well made. Piece of mind too as these are on FDA list too. I wear these when going into a supermarket, doctors office or visitng elderly family members. I have both the earloop and headband style. Both fit the same, headband fits a little more snug. All masks like this are worthless if you are unable to properly seal it against your face. Many times I can feel air escaping in the nose area near eyes when blowing out hard. The metal nose strip is a bit on the weak side, that is the only negative of this brand. If I work hard at molding the nose area to my face properly, I can always get the perfect fit with a litle patience.
KN95 is still better that your typical cloth mask or those gaiters people keep wearing.

What's your criteria for "can"?

N95 masks are a single use item. They were never designed, intended, or tested to be used more than once. As in, not use for a day, take on and off, all shift. Put it on, take it off, throw it in the trash. Guess what emergency and ICU physicians and nurses have been doing for months? Re-using N95 masks, because there is not much in the way of other options.

Is there some kind of reliable testing and certification of the efficacy of these masks after use and some sort of decontamination procedure? I very highly doubt it.

Do we have data on how long the virus is stable (lasts) on certain surfaces? Yes.

Whether you place a mask in a paper bag or a ziplock bag, it seems very unlikely that the virus will meaningfully remain on it after say a week.

If we say that it is "decontaminated," then, the question is, does it still work as intended after re-use? That is a question of fit and filtration. Does it still fit well enough that air is not constantly going around the mask? Does the filtration integrity last? Hard to say. You can get some sense of this yourself. Is it soiled? Is it frayed or destroyed? Is she shape deformed? Etc.

I re-use these.
Since you have rightly commented on re-use of this, how do you tackle usage when someone uses for grocery trip? I use these only for that and only during these trips which tend to last abt an hr. I take out the mask and leave it in the garage (just open, no bags of any kind) I might be using it again in 3/4 days. Am I doing it wrong?

Also, I sometimes go to multiple store in one trip, so mask gets taken off and put back on for the next store. Total time spent in-door in such scenario would be say 2 hrs

Please advise

as mentioned earlier, costco is selling masks with the kn95 liner that are a much better deal than this one.

you get 2 masks with 24 kn95 liners
https://www.costco.com/bondir-air...94708.html

And can buy 48 liners for only 22.99

How are these? I have tried the Hanes cloth mask from costco and find it hard to breathe

Very detailed answer if people reuse cloth masks I don't why the filtration capacity of these would be zero after single use. I typically have been using these for about a week each but cycle one or two. If I go out out I leave it in my car and let any potential virus die until I wear the same one again. Its a psuedo science for sure, if you can even call it that as there's not really any empiricism behind it but hey I guess it's worked out for me so far. I mean medical professionals need not apply my bunk ass logic though
The filtration capabilities of a standard cloth mask or consumer use non surgical differ greatly because of the physics of what's happening.

Commercial grade ones used by healthcare can only be used up to a certain time and with efficiency due to the mask having an additional electrostatic pull component that makes bacterias and viruses latch on to the mask and hold it as opposed to standard masks that actually filtrate by making the holes tiny.

You lose that electrostatic component advantage the longer it's used and when washed.

This is a pretty good video explaining it

I bought a pack of the masks that have the head bands. They are comfortable but fog up my glasses more than any other mask i've tried. the metal nose strip is pretty weak. attempting to see if a 3d printed nose clip makes a difference

I personally don't reuse mask and would not reuse it after i go to indoor places like a grocery store, Home depot or Costco. I understand others reuse it to save money. Some manufacturers will say that KN95 or 95 masks can be reused 2-3 times. Handling it after use is very important if you want to reuse it. I have seen many people touch their mask in front and would place it either in their pockets or handbag afterwards to store it.

These are good, the ones that loop around the back of the head fit much better though.
