Yes. In fact, these types of masks were suitable only for industrial applications pre-COVID in the US. They have a FDA emergency use authorization now, but that will be rescinded once the threat has passed.
Then again, pre-COVID, US-made respirators were widely available and very cheap. So. there was no need for the imported product.
It's almost impossible to breathe in a KN95 mask for an extended period. KF94 filters just as well, but provides much better breathability.
The ear-loop style don't fit my face tight enough, but that can be remedied by simply tying knots at the end of each ear loop to shorten it. Even still, fit around the nose bridge piece could be uneven, so what I've taken to doing is adding stick-on foam strip to the inside of the nose piece. With that, combined with the tightened fit by knotting the earloops, I can tell I've got a reasonably good, though perhaps slightly imperfect seal.
I wear ear-loop style when I'm just knocking about my office's work areas, where people are also masked and diligently maintaining proper spatial distancing.
The headband style fits much tighter and gives me a seal I trust better (I still to use the foam strips) for when I have to enter areas I feel less comfortable, like a classroom full of people (I'm a campus PC technician) or the grocery store and other more public, less predictable areas.
So my suggestion is to buy both, and use each style when appropriate. Ear Loop when convenience is a factor (I take mine off whenever I'm alone in my office, then don it immediatly if somebody walks in to ask me a question) and then headband when max safety is your concern, at the expense of ease of donning and doffing it.

I just deleted post after post after post of off topic political fighting. We have the podium if you want to discuss politics. Hot deals is not the place for this. Discuss the deal itself here. Thank you.
