Got one for 12 mini few days ago but so far didn't try out the wireless charging. One HUGE advice is to get rid of the metal emblem on the back, I suspect it might be the cause for causing overheating for coils since it's right in the middle of charging area and it is made out of pretty thick aluminum piece. It's just resting on adhesive so it came off easily when I lifted from the side with knife blade.
