Probably worth mentioning the 256gb ssd + 1tb. This thing checks all the boxes for a mid-tier gaming machine, doesn't it? I bought it for Lightroom, Grim Dawn, Diablo 3, and hopefully Diablo 4.

I noticed the one in my local store is finally on sale (the previous 2 sales at Costco for this computer were the on-line only version. Does anyone know the difference between these two options? I believe the one in the club is the 'F' version which the intel i5-10400f, which seems it is slighter cheaper and doesn't have integrated GPU, but does this matter having the F version? Appreciate if anyone has insight here on if this is a big deal.

Having Intel integrated graphics is nice for troubleshooting purposes, or if your graphic card breaks and you have to send it in for repair you will not need to find a replacement graphic card, but outside of that its not really useful or important to have an integrated graphics solution. You could buy the computer with the 10400F if you are not concerned by this

EDIT the motherboard has no video outputs so you can't use the integrated graphics on the Intel 10400. There is no difference between the 10400F and the 10400 in this case

What is the purpose of the integrated graphics card if there is no HDMI or video out on the motherboard?

- i5 10400 processor.
- They removed the M.2 aluminum cooler

*The same 400 FPS power supply

Seems like a pretty good deal for a better-than-budget gaming-PC build with the CPU, GPU, memory and hard drive set up, backed by Costco's warranty. There does not seem to be a better alternative at this price or within a couple hundred dollars. I'm looking to upgrade from a 3 year old roughly $500 self-build for kids with a Pentium G4620 / GTX 1050 Ti (which was a pretty good quality budget build back then and still running OK). Am I missing something?

The Costco in Pleasant Prairie, WI, had both models in stock as of last night, though the staff did not realize there are two versions. Both models were in the same stack on the pallet, with only the sale priced model having a Costco price sign posted above it. The "f" version is not on sale, as we realized when it would not scan at the discounted price. Both boxes looked the same, but had different UPCs.

The only difference I have seen between the chips is the onboard video, though there are no video ports on this MB, as others have stated here.

Wonder why the m.2 cooler been removed? Cut cost or not necessary? Or maybe the extra fan helps the air circulation a lot?

I didn't see that the motherboard has no video outputs. In this case the 10400 and the 10400F are the same, getting the 10400 will not provide any extra benefit

Any idea if it uses a proprietary power supply? Would love to get one and upgrade the graphics later on to a 3060.
