I can make $100 faster than I can make a scooter.
I need Ryobi to come out with a fat boy version.

I'm waiting for the DIY crowd to chime in here and say "you can build one for less than $100" Smilie

I've got a used e300, a 36v throttle kit and some Milwaukee M18 battery terminal blocks. gonna tackle one this winter. It's probably going to run more than $129, but already have M18 tools on hand.

I wonder what the "BL" stands for? It's not Brushless motor, is it?

Lowes website says it only comes with a 90 day warranty on the scooter. One of the photos on the item page seems to say that the battery and charger have a three-year warranty, but only a 90 day warranty on the scooter is kind of ridiculous.

I can't find any definitive information, but my guess would be that BL stands for blue.

Interesting. Lot's of stock near me. Even shows up at 50% price on Lowes.com (with my store selected, of course). Not being familiar with the low-end kids scooter market, not really sure if this is a good deal or not. Would it make sense for a 6 and 8 yo nieces? Or will their parents kill me?

A little more investigation: Looks like a version of the Razer Black Label E100 that Walmart has for $128 currently. Actually decent reviews on Razer and Walmart site. 90W motor. The Kobalt version looks to have a 60min vs. 35min runtime, so battery must be larger.
