The rest are so-so. If you want to learn Python take the CS50 class on EDX [harvard.edu]. There are also free courses from MIT [youtube.com] and other colleges on YouTube for free.

Click on the series below this book and you can buy them all with one click.
I always look at the series view because quite often there is a deal on more than one of the volumes.

Exactly. Open courseware is a great place to start. Boot camps aren't bad but don't expect to learn more than web development. These trash e books will never land you a job anywhere.
The best resources for me were W3Schools, just searching "javascript if" or how to use json etc.
The CS50 also linked below was a decent help but gets in the weeds often so you have to sift through a lot of their content.
Also get visual studio and extensions and play around with coding in javascript, JSON (I know this is a JS format but it still differentiates), and typescript.

Anyone who's ever written a technical book knows they're not very profitable unless they sell a LOT of copies. I've written in a few compilation books on cybersecurity, and I can tell you that aside from the boost they give to the resume when applying for jobs, they really aren't worth much more. Between working with the editors, creating drafts, going back and forth on redlines and ultimately getting the final draft through, I probably got paid a fraction of what I'd make as a consultant in my field.
For some of these people, if they're good at what they do - a short, well written book is a good entry into more writing if not a boost for their professional career.
