Sapphire is far superior but Citizen's hardened mineral crystal is legit. I've had mine for 6 years and it's perfect. This is a very handsome chronograph from a great brand for very little money. Great deal!

Pretty good looking watch. Mineral crystal, not sapphire so pass for me.

I will echo this. I used my mineral faced citizen for work for 2 years and the face still looks new. I was not careful at all. The metal around the glass is all scratched up but the glass isn't.

Seems like a good price. Does anyone know if this wears large? I have a smallish wrist and I generally can't get away with anything larger than 40mm, in some cases 42mm.

From what I can find it seems to be 50mm lug to lug distance.
That's always the most telling aspect for how it will wear. I have a 6.75" wrist and that's as big as I can go.

This wears small for a 42mm. The rounded bezel gives off a smaller feel than a large bezel.

From what I understand, the warranty is through Ashford, not citizen. Only 2 years when all of my citizen eco drives have come with 5 years, and I think I saw somewhere an extra year if you register

Here is a link for those interested in knowing the differences between mineral vs sapphire. I googled it myself since I didn't know. After reading, I do however want to mention that if you are careful with your watch, it doesn't matter if it's mineral or sapphire. Sapphire is added protection and costs more in imho.
