Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but aren't fossil watches just cheap fashion watches? If you need a watch buy a Timex or Casio, they will be better quality. If you want something like this look into orient and buy an open heart.

They are cheaper but I thoroughly enjoy them. Fossil is also partnered with other brands: https://www.fossilgroup.com/brands/ I have about 8 automatic watches from fossil which I find is much more fun and affordable. As for quality, I've never had an issue with the automatics.
If you pay more than $100 for a Fossil watch you're an idiot. Source - I worked at a watch and jewelry sales and repair shop for 3 years during college. We sold and repaired many Fossil watches and they're worth maybe $60-$80.

Watches in most cases are jewelry for people nothing more. Most people don't care how it compares to the established and traditional watch making brands, and in some ways they shouldn't. Even the big boys often use movements made by someone else (Swatch group, Timex etc say hello).
Fossil makes some cool designs and they tell the time. If you mostly care about the first rather than the innards or "tradition" who are we to judge that. I started off wearing Fossils until moving into higher end pieces but still see plenty wearing Fossils, Diesels, etc and honestly - thats cool too. 100 or more for Fossils when some of the recent Timex releases and Chinese clones/homages ask more isn't that unreasonable imho. Whether they *should* cost that much is a different debate.
Heads up, this is a pretty big watch face. 48mm. Not quite Invicta or Diesel size, but big for a classic design... But i know big watch faces are a plus and may be more fitting for larger hand and wrist types. In any case you can search fossil's site directly to find cheaper and more of a selection of automatics. I'm a fan of the fenmore design and the evanston. Both at the same price.
Woot is not delivering the products. They simply say preparing for shipment and if you want they will say we can cancel the order and refund full amount
