Honestly never again with petco giftcards for me. The last deal I had an awful experience where they couldn't fulfill my order, so instead of sending me a new giftcard with the difference, they claimed it was refunded to the same giftcard. Turns out, it wasn't. I ended up on the phone for over an hour trying to get it sorted. All for $23. Dumb.

Why am I getting $40 chg from Petco after entering the code? Confused Not the $39.50.
EDIT NVM I see that is correct and the $39.50 is for Carter's egc.

I tried to pay w/amex 1 point for the 20% discount promo but it wouldn't work. Does that not work on Lightening deals??

The same experience. Their system did not refund gc automatically after the order was cancelled, though their customer service also gave me a new gc after talking with them. This reminds me exactly the same story of lowes gc. However, petco has almost always the best deal for most pet items these days, just need to be careful when using such gc...

Edit: Wish I had seen the above comments before I ordered the $50 card.

Same experience. One of my item got canceled even though it was in stock still...2 hour wait time and I gave up and decided to call the next day. Waited 1 hour...only good part was the lady refunded back the money for 3 items not 1.

Can you do multiple deals for the Petco card or is it a limit of 1? Petco currently has "spend $100, get 25% off for order online / in-store pickup." I'd want to buy multiple of these and stock up on supplies immediately if it works that way.
