  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

EDIT: I have a virtual number for now if that btw. WHICH is what I used for this.

Anyone else concerned about the Opt in for rewards? It appears to be stating that be enrolling in rewards Google and trusted Google partners will have read access to all transactions on the enrolled card. Does that mean Target now has access to every purchase record on my AMEX?

looks like there are two apps in the App Store for Google Pay and I downloaded the older one. I deleted and reinstalled the newer version and can now see the explore tab. Thanks!

Anyone else seeing a delay in the referral $21 reward (not the target reward)?

I signed up via a referral and gave my link to two ppl who both signed up and we all made the required $10 purchase/transfer.

I just received a $21 referral reward notification. I have no idea which of my referrals triggered the reward. But no matter what I only received 1 out of 3 so far.

Confirmed it works on Xbox digital gift card. Bought $70 to get extra 15% on app target offer. $65.50 - $21 cash back. $ $44.50 total for $70 xbox credit. I also used the. Referral not sure if went through. That would be a much slicker deal.

When u add an eligible card (try the virtual credit card number), I believe that should satisfy the requirement. on that offer, if that card shows under 'eligible card', that should do fine.

I followed these instructions:


1. install Google Pay app.
2. See if you have offer
3. Make sure you activate the offer
4. Opt in to Google Pay rewards --Account, Settings, Offer & Rewards, Earn (Check/turn on), Turn on your card(s)
5. Activate a credit card in the app
6. Use that credit card (online or instore).

Saw the offer, activated it, made sure Rewards was on with my CC. Used my CC in store at Target and still did not see any $21 credit to my account.

Does it stack with the Redcard discount ? Since it brings down the total to $47.50 and not $50
