Deal Instructions- Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
- Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
- Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
- Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
- Scroll until you find the Target offer
- Click to Activate the offer
- Click Enroll Card
- You may need to Click Activate again
- Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
- Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
- You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Then you go to Explore, check the offers.
Add the Target offer to your GPay account, add a valid credit card. And complete that one by buying say $50 Target GC.
Who would in their right mind agree to any company to get access and updates for their bank accpunt?

On GPAY after buying something from target, you should see the Target logo under businesses. Click that and you should have a notification that the cashback will be applied in 30 days.

However I assume many of the people are anyways saving their credit card details on various less secure sites.
With the multi factor authentication like biometrics, the risk in these kinds of pay are worth taking for some of us like me.
