  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

The deal can be triggered when purchasing a gift card.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

So, for you, if you go to the 'insights' tab in the Google Pay app, you're able to see that you have $21 available to use or cash out?

Doesn't cost anything to send someone $ (no extra fee that is)

Edit - works fine on iOS. Did it w/ my wife's iPhone just fine.

Edit 2 - The $21 referral reward is only on the first transaction. So if you already did the target thing it's too late. Has to be your first transaction for the referral bonus.

(I just signed into the new Gpay app with an account that I used google pay with before .) In the Gpay app I tab on my icon at the upper right corner, then tap the 3-dot at that corner, and tab "Referral code", it allows me to enter a code to the blank in the middle of page. Does that mean I can still be counted as "Referred" by someone?

I had to swipe the screen to the right to see "explore" and find the taget offer. It wasn't intuitive.

I opened my account thorugh some random referral too so when i sent my wife invite and gave her 10$, i got the 21$ referral and 21$ for buying gift card at target. How will she get the referral on my her account? can she send me back 10$ or if she purchase in store using her account, will she get the 21$ referral to?

She needs to give you (or someone else $10 OR make an in store NFC purchase). She than can also do the Target deal, you should each be able to get $42 in rewards, or actually you should end up with $63 I believe since you started on a referral from someone else.

Anyone having luck with a chase flex? It's been hours since I bought the gc and still haven't received the transaction details in my gpay. Still also a temporary hold from google in credit card details though

Yup, it says "$21 cashback" at the top, then the Target logo with "Congrats! Rewarded on December 20, available in 30 days. If you refund your payment, your reward might be forfeited."

My chase flex worked. It says I will get the $21 in 30 days though, it wasn't instantly in my account.

Yeah... the app is very unintuitive.... you'd think they would have learned by now how to make software more intuitive.

Ok well that's what I have. It's not available NOW to use, which is what me and a lot of people are asking. If you swipe right to the insights tab, you should see $0.
