  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

I referred a few people but if they ever had google pay before and sent $$ then you wont get the referral. You will get a message saying referral earned and it will look like a badge like the target $21 one

Placed an order, Google Pay immediately tracked it and issued reward. Now Target emailed me saying that they canceled the items as they were no longer in stock.

I placed another order for ebay gift card, received it but it seems Google Pay is no longer tracking it. It appears I won't receive the reward, at least not without fight.

Sorry if this has been asked already (I'd search but on my phone on the SD app so can't view thread to search) but any point in linking my target redcard (if this is possible)? I figure you can't double dip and get another 5% off right?

Well since apparently my Target MasterCard was not recognized by G Pay the initial $60 I spent for a Target Gift Card was wasted and not processed to be recognized by G pay for the Cashback. Finally my Target MasterCard was recognized, made a $75 Home Depot Gift Card purchase, the $21 shows up, and then an hour later I receive an email from Target saying that my Home Depot Gift Card order has been cancelled with no explanation as to why. I rarely use that card, has a $0 balance and $8000 available. FUC Google and Target!
