Only mountain gray is available for shipping, not available for pick up. It comes with pen and 8 gig RAM compared to 6gig on 128G model. I think this is a good price for a year old model.

S7 is a TFT display whereas S6 is a Super AMOLED. Rest of specs are similar. If u have the dough, 430 for a 256GB S6 is a killer deal.
It's amazing how inaccurate this is and yet how many thumbs up you got. But hey, that's SD hivemind at work I suppose.

It's actually LTPS and it's one of the higher quality IPS displays. TFT is used in budget Samsung tablet like the S6 Lite/A7 which has poor colors with limited viewing angles. Colors and contrast on LTPS are very similar to OLED. Besides for the OLED screen, both the S7 and S7+ is better than S6 in every way.

big s-pen latency improvement (26ms vs 9ms)
120Hz display
upgraded CPU/GPU
bigger battery
45w fast charging vs 15w fast charging
extra year of update

...I mean I can go on and on.

Now is the price difference worth it? Probably not. Will it be noticeable in day to day usage if you're not taking advantage of all these upgrades? Probably not. But saying that the rest of specs are similar is just plain wrong and all of you thinking that the S6 is better just because of the OLED screen is missing out on everything else.

Whatever, have fun with any of these Samsung tablets. TU because not a bad deal and they're all great.Smilie
There's an open box 256GB near me that I've been contemplating on for $325. UPDATE: Its 250 now. pulling the trigger. I think it may be missing the pen though.

not available for pickup might be YMMV since mine is. When they ship, they use USPS so I'd rather curbside it since the USPS sucks

The gift card doesn't take away from the price so still $580. Don't waste money on higher GBs when Samsung tabs take SD cards.

I have a S7+ that I got for $330 (after trade in and discounts) but got the base model since I have a 256GB SD card that I've been using since the S4.

I own the s6 8gb and the 7+ 8gb. Don't buy anything but the 8gb. You will notice the difference. You will always be full with 6gb. I show I use 4gb constantly. That leaves less then 2 and it shows it.

That sounds like a killer deal. How often does Samsung or other outlets have the S7+ for under, say, $400-$500? This is still a tempting price for sure...

Doesn't the 256gb version have extra ram?

Went with the 256gb S6 because of the screen for price.
