Hmmm.... I wonder if anyone has ever tried something like putting flash drives in a RAID array of some sort. No practical reason. Just "can you do it?" challenge

That said... there's still utility for a bunch of cheap slow low-capacity USB sticks. Just not RAID Big Grin

Microcenter has 16GB USB 3.1 for $2.99 each... https://www.microcenter.com/produ...lash-drive

This is USB 2.0 and $3.60 each.
Yes I know everyone doesn't have a Microcenter, but still this is not a deal.

I was installing Cloudready to an old laptop, downloaded the iso file and flash usb maker from their web site. But the usb maker refuse to clone the iso onto an 8gb Sandisk drive, and asked me to use non-Sandisk drive.. It failed to copy to another 8gb Sandisk drive. I have also tried to use a third party cloning software, it wrote the iso successfully but failed in verification. So I will not buy Sandisk flash drive for iso cloning.

If it's basic system backup like windows usually u need 64 GB. But u will also need a cheap 4 GB just to make a boot drive.
