Even the Ryzen 3 version seems solid for the price for what you're getting. Solid set of ports (2 USB-C Gen 2, DP, HDMI, 2.5GbE+1GbE).

Wow $600 is steep, the Best Buy deal with the 4700g (plus RAM, SSD and OS) for $480 makes this wayyy overpriced. I like AMD because they didn't upcharge but those days look to be way over

not to mention HP laptop during Black Friday which had 4700u with PD and USB C Video out for $400 out the door (after $50 Cashback). This is clearly not that slick

I saw it when newegg emailed to notify me it was in stock. I've been eyeing this and others like it as a PC upgrade for mom, but the simple fact is it costs too much for a tech-illiterate person who wouldn't know the difference between this and the i5-3xxx currently in use!
