Why can't they make the Michael Bay transformer version. This is like cereal boxes connected with toothpicks..
Because there isn't a Michael Bay / Back to the Future mash up. Duh

Got this delivered from Target on a preorder when it was $22. In terms of size it looks small not sure if I would pay $30 for it though.

I got mine today from Target deal from last year. It's a cool figure but it's small.

Transformers don't come in "big" and "small". This is a Deluxe and probably the most typical size they come in.

Miraculously, Hasbro offers more than one single Transformer figure a year. Here you go: https://www.walmart.com/search/?q...0studio%20

I got two of these. They are awesome. I don't know what size people expected this to be... I'm 38 and grew up with transformers. It's exactly the size an autobot car should be.

I hope this doesn't come across as me coming here to poop on this deal because I'm going to end up buying one, but as somebody that grew up on Transformers toys in the 80s... The pictures on Walmart make this thing look like it's made out of some of the cheapest plastic they could find. I hope it's just the pictures. I just remember how well made and nice the metal and plastic ones were originally. I know it's not reasonable to expect them to make these out of diecast metal, but we could at least expect some nice plastic. Again, Thanks for alerting me to the deal, because I'm going to grab one of these, but I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping it's just the pictures that make it look that way.

Modern transformers are typically not high quality plastic. They're thin/hollow and generally lighter in weight. Some of them are really good toys that feel chonky and have smooth transformations. Some...don't.
